Iraq moves to diversify gas sources, stabilize electricity

The Parliamentary Energy Committee confirmed the continuation of efforts to diversify gas sources for power plants, by importing it from Azerbaijan, Qatar and Iran, in addition to relying on local gas. It pointed out that the Anbar thermal and gas station will be put into service next year, which will enhance the stability of the energy sector and improve services provided to citizens.
